All the practicality of a rectangle sign with a decorative scalloped border around the edge. This is the shape to reach for when a plain rectangle feels too plain — farmhouse kitchen signs, seasonal porch decor, and gift signs all benefit from the extra detail without any extra painting.

Available in six sizes from 4" x 6" up to 12" x 16", in your choice of MDF or Baltic birch.

MDF comes in 1/8" or 1/4" thickness. Birch is mostly cut in 1/4", with a few smaller sizes available in 1/8".

MDF (medium density fiberboard) is smooth, lightweight, and takes paint beautifully with no grain showing through. Seal it before any exposure to humidity or moisture — before or after painting is fine. Water exposure may cause it to swell.

Birch plywood is natural wood with visible grain, and it's the easier choice if you want to stain for a natural look. Plywood should also be sealed to protect against moisture and warping.
