Painting tips:

• A high-density sponge roller makes the base coat fast and clean. Keep it light so paint doesn't drip over the edges. A regular paint brush also works well.
• To paint the small detail pieces, lay a strip of painter's tape FACE UP on your table, secure both ends, and stick the pieces to the exposed tape. The tape holds them steady while you paint.
