God Bless all the mom’s out there. Mine was truly the best. Miss her (and dad) terribly and think about them every day. After countless years of not being able to have children, they adopted me when they were in their mid-40s. My mom told me I was adopted when I was 44 and she was going thru dementia. After that I confirmed it with my dad and he was shocked my mom told me. After my parents passed I did Ancestry and found my birth parents. My birth mother spoke to me briefly, but then decided I wanted to know too much information and has opted not to be a part of my life, but that’s ok. I understand …. My birth father though, is a diamond in the rough. What a super great guy he is! What I’ve learned through all of this is that mom’s are all different. Some of them make the hard choice of putting up their child because of an unwanted pregnancy and then there are those who adopt those children and give them an amazing life. I’m a mom of two grown children and love them more then life itself. I will worry about them til the day I go. Now that I have more time on my hands, I’ve discovered stenciling and Wallcutz.
